A little bit of everything...

So here's a post with ..as titled..a little bit of everything.  First, we'll be staying at the hotel seen above, The Sheraton Waikiki. This is where we stayed at in 2007 and obviously were impressed.  If you're wondering..it's not the pink hotel.  

We did not block any rooms off; you are free to stay where you would like.  Anywhere in the Waikiki area should be close to us/the wedding locations.  Some guests are staying at the ResortQuest Waikiki, while others have found vacation condos to rent.  If you do decide to stay at the Sheraton, we suggest signing up for the SPG program; it's free, and they offer some discounts.

We'll be on Oahu from the 12th until the 20th. Then we will be departing for the Big Island to check out the Volcano and whatever other cool stuff we can find.

We've had requests to post our registry information as well.  We are registered through an online site; www.myregistry.com.  You'll find ours by searching by either of our names.  We do have a password for the registry, please email or call us for this :)  (If you purchase an item in a store vs. online, you can still mark on the registry that it was purchased.  You can only do this by going to www.myregistry.com to our registry, we are not registered at individual stores.)  If you do want to get a gift for us, please do not bring it to Hawaii.  We'll be having a gathering in the summer to celebrate as well, and that would be a nice time to bring it if you choose.

Invitations went out Friday; so you should be seeing those shortly if you haven't already. 

We just saw at Target that sandals and swimsuits are coming back out already, so it looks like there will be plenty of options for those.  But we are going to Hawaii, so you'd have some choices there also if you wanted to wait.  And really, Hawaii is where you should buy a Hawaiian shirt. :)

We've read that it's better to shop at Costco than the regular grocery stores in Hawaii.  You will need a membership to get in and purchase items, or you'll need to buddy up with someone that already has a membership that is going with to Hawaii :).
